Félicia Kocher (*1994) is a Swiss jewelry artist based in Basel. Trained as a goldsmith she has several years of experience working in the field and her technical expertise has been awarded by the SwissSkills foundation.
Félicia’s work is characterized by detailed and precise execution, combining vivid colors and a playful aesthetic. Her practice includes jewelry and object making, in which the unique properties of metal often have a complementary role to different materials such as enamel, acrylic glass, precious and non-precious stones, industrial materials and ceramics. The unique combinations of materials inspire Félicia to challenge herself and to explore new forms of artistic expression.
Driven by her curiosity, Félicia takes inspiration from discovering new places and discovering the local nature, customs and built environment. Translating these site-specific impressions into hand-crafted jewelry and artifacts, she accentuates often overlooked details, making them perceptible.
